Vegas Again? and Again?

If you've been reading my blog, then you know that I go to Vegas a lot. It's because I have friends that LOVE to drink and party and just go crazy. And Vegas is just about the perfect place for that. It's relatively close (4 hour drive) so we can always go on our days off from work for a day or two. It's just fun to go out and night and have fun with your friends.

Well, I was just there this past Wed/Thurs. Had an amazing time just being goofballs. The first night didn't end up all too well though. One of my friends went off to find a hookup so that left only 5 of us. Then another two of them were horsing around and one of them pushed the other into a bush and he kinda toppled over a bit, so he got him back and pushed him back into the bushes. But he picked a bad time to do it because it was a weak spot in the bushes and he fell right through. So for a second, he was lost in the bushes and had to have someone help him up. For the rest of the night, the two didn't talk to each other. And so the one that fell through the bushes and his girlfriend went back to the hotel room early. Which meant only 3 of us were left. The 3 of us made the best of our time together and did more walking around and drinking. But then when we were calling a night and heading back to the hotel room, one of us got an email that he had been waiting for regarding an audition. And the email wasn't good. He didn't get the job. So he was bummed out when we got back to the room. And to top it off, the one that went off for a hookup came back earlier than expected, crying, and went straight to the corner of the room and cried himself to sleep on the floor. HAHA. DRAMA!

The next day was a brand new day and we started off with a lunch buffet at the Mirage hotel. YUMMO! That put us all back into a good mood. And we were back to being one big happy family :) Buffets are just awesome!

Well, it's now Saturday. And I'm home with family after a long day at work. Guess where I'm going with my family tomorrow for 3 days? VEGAS! HAHA. I didn't tell my family that I went to Vegas already with my friends. It's gonna be a different Vegas experience with my family. They actually love to go to Vegas. As a family, we go almost every year at least 3 or 4 times. Whenever there's a holiday, Vegas is usually the top vacation spot for us. But that's because my family likes to eat. We are probably going to be at the buffets ALL the time. HAHA. Not sure what else we could do... we have two little ones coming along so they really can't do much. We'll see! But we're staying at the Venetian so I'm looking forward to it!

And just an update on the job hunt. Apple has not replied to me yet. No emails or phone calls back. Bummer... I decided against calling that phone number I found online. If they want me, they'll call me. In other news, I may actually be trying to take over for my choir director when he retires, which might be at the end of this year. I just emailed him about the possibility of student teaching under his apprenticeship and allowing me to teach/direct a few songs for the Concert Choir this spring and he agrees that it's an excellent idea. I hope that this happens because that would be REALLY awesome. I would LOVE to teach choir as a living! Wish me luck on this!

Applying for Apple

My job at Disney is pretty amazing.. however, it doesn't really pay much. Thus I've been trying to find other jobs that I would like to do. Searching for a teaching job right now is basically futile because the education budget in the state of California is zilch... so I'm trying to look for other jobs that fit my qualifications.

And I think I've found the perfect one: Apple Corporate Field Marketing in Educational Markets Executive. My combined BA in Economics and MA in Education/Teaching really makes me a good fit for this. It's basically someone who's in charge of the seminars/meetings that Apple sponsors/creates for high schools/colleges/universities to promote and sell their computers. The seminars teach students/teachers/faculty/staff on how best to apply Apple computers and Apple software to create the best education environment.

I wrote a really kickass cover letter for this job (tooting my own horn.. :P) and uploaded it, along with my resume, to the Apple website. And that's all I have done. There's no contact phone or email for me to follow up with them. I did this on Thanksgiving so it's been over a week. I'm starting to get restless about it and want to somehow contact them to just see if they've received it and maybe set myself apart from all other applicants.

Well, like I said, there's no email or phone number listed on their jobs website. And just basic yellow pages and simple google-ing doesn't give me anything. However, with some further searching I was able to come up with a phone number and fax number for the office. BUT, it's actually part of some guy's personal website. It show directions to the office. Here's the link: Apple Santa Monica Office. It's on www.ronlawrence.com ... I believe this Ron Lawrence works for Apple somewhere; I tried to look that up on Google too. But is it kind of creepy to just call the office because I found their number on some guy's website. I mean, I guess they didn't publicize their phone number for a reason? But I really should follow up on my application, right? Maybe I can fax my cover letter and resume again?

What should I do?? Please help. I need all of your advice on this...

Sleepover

Last night, I had a sleepover with Ohio. No, not a cutesy sleepover like kids have back in elementary school... It was one of those sleepovers filled with groping and sticky substances.

I came home last night after seeing a performance of Mary Poppins (the musical) and as I was changing out of my dressy clothes (which, by the way, I think I looked awesome in) I got a text from Ohio: "What r u doing?" So I decide to tell him that I just turned on the TV and was about to relax. And in the back of my mind, I knew that he was bored and wanted to hang out. He replies: "I'm bored. Wanna hang out?" =P

So I tell him to come over since he lives right across the street. We turn on Glee, but we end up just talking through the first half of the episode. We just talked about different things, but we seemed to just ignore the drama that happened with James. I've gotten over it and I just didn't need to bring it up again.

After Glee, the programs that I recorded in the living room didn't interest us so we went into my room to watch the shows I recorded in there. There's only one twin bed in my room, so we both got cozy on there. We've done this before, when we first started hanging out. Back then, we stayed on our respective sides of my small bed and hardly touched. But this time, we got close and soon he was resting his head on my arm. I have to admit, I was expecting him to want something more than to just hang out... which was why I was wearing my tight fitting sleeveless wifebeater even though it was pretty cold in the apartment.. :P

We both started to fall asleep while watching TV, but my hand ended up near his crotch area, and then he got closer and pushed his crotch into my hand. I adjusted a bit, and felt that his dick was definitely hard. So of course I adjusted my hand a few more times, until I was just full on grabbing it. He then reaches into my pants and starts jacking me off. We take off our pants and we just jack each other off in the dark while making out.

We came together and cleaned ourselves up. We were either both tired so we basically just climbed back into bed and fell asleep in each other's arms. He woke up early this morning cuz he had to get back to his apartment to go to work. We didn't even say much to each other. He just got his pants on, put his shoes on, I walked him to the door, he told me thanks for letting him stay over, and then he walked out the door.

Well, I guess I have another friend that I can have some fun with now. :P

False Alarm

Sigh... I had a feeling that it wouldn't happen as planned.

The other guy's dinner went long and couldn't make it to the 3some on time. But we're most likely rescheduling. So it WILL happen. Just didn't happen tonight. :(

threesome

The title isn't some clever ploy to get you to read my post.

I'm ACTUALLY having a threesome TONIGHT. It's already planned. Unless something happens to one of us, I'll be having my first threesome in about 4 hours. OMG! I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I have to make the necessary preparations. :P

Will most definitely be blogging about it afterwards.. good or bad, you'll get the details. ;)

Almost Died..

Sooooo just about 2 minutes ago I just tripped down the stairs and almost died....
But using my amazing agility, I was able to grab on to the railing at the last moment to prevent myself from somersaulting to my doom.

Just thought I'd share my escape from death.

Mini Vacation

I'm always on some sort of vacation, aren't I?

It's my friend Kevin's birthday today and to celebrate, we're going to LAS VEGAS!! Vegas is his favorite place in the whole wide world. He goes there overnight on his days off. Pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. LOL. But I was excited when he invited me to go! Vegas is the only place where I feel comfortable drinking. And I only drink the Peach Bellini at Fat Tuesdays. (I'm sure I've blogged about this before on all my other Vegas posts... :P)

Kevin's already there with some of our other friends and then a few of us are driving up today beacuse we couldn't afford missing too many days of work. But it's better this way anyway because I think spending 3 nights at Vegas is too much. I would just spend way too much money.

I do plan on spending money on a really nice buffet. I'm going to try and convince people to go to the Rio Village Seafood Buffet!! It's my FAVORITE buffet ever!! It's so freakin' good! But I guess any buffet with crab legs is good. I just LOVE crab legs!!! They might be my favorite expensive food. ;)

And if the guys don't want to go to a buffet.. I have a backup plan. Justin is also in Vegas. It's actually going to be my last time seeing Justin. He's in Vegas for a convention and then he drives his way across country to go back home. So I do want to see him one last time. He also suggested that I stay with him on Saturday night as a last goodbye... probably because he's horny. To be frank (and this is the perfect place to be), I've sort of lost my attraction for him. He's a really fun person to hang around and we have lots of things in common, but when it comes to physical attraction, it's not really there for me. Plus, he's a slobber-er... his kissing needs a lot of work. If you've read my giant Hawaii post, then you know how I feel about slobbery guys.. And it really just kills the mood when he's a bad kisser. :( Oh.. anyway.. my backup plan is to possibly break off from the group and go to a buffet with Justin. Kinda bad to break off from the birthday boy... but... I REALLY want crab legs. HAHA. But I think Kevin will also want a buffet because he loves to eat too (even though he's stick thin and super attractive) so maybe it won't be a problem. :)

Anyway, I may or may not blog using my iPhone when I'm in Vegas. But I will most likely Tweet so keep an eye on my Twitter Feed on the side if you want to keep updated on me. :P

Birthday Present

So I didn't really blog much about my birthday. I guess it wasn't that exciting. However, I did have dinner with a group of my closest friends at Souplantation and I was very happy that they took time out of their schedule to celebrate my birthday with me. I had such a great time chatting with all of them and the food was awesome. I love me some Souplantation!!! or it's Sweet Tomatoes for some of you... and for those of you who have no idea what those are... it's basically a salad buffet. But they also have wonderful baked goods and some delicious soups. I go there for the clam chowder! It's AMAZING!

On a different day, I also invited some friends over to play Nintendo Wii. That was also a lot of fun! We mostly played Guitar Hero and Mario Kart. I hadn't played in a LONG time so I was pretty bad at both. I really need to play more video games. HAHA. It just sits there, collecting dust, when I paid so much money for the console and the games! How did I afford all that crap?! Maybe I need to sell my games to get some extra money.... Some of those games I don't ever play and I can at least get about $5 for each of them, I think... Sigh, anyway... Wii Party went well. Again just glad that i have friends who want to spend some time with me. :)

As for presents, I didn't really ask for anything this year. My mom and my sister gave me cash. Loved that. :) And I got a gift card to Yogurtland from one of my friends. Yogurtland is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop with tons of differen froze yogurt flavors and then you pile on fruit and candy toppings. You pay by the ounce so you can put as much or as little as you want in your little cup. SOOO freakin' good!

But a really nice surprise birthday present came from torchy! :) A few days after my birthday, I received a thin package in the mail from the UK. He had told me he was going to be sending me something so I was excited to see it. He printed out two gorgeous pictures that he had taken and sent them over to me. They're quite spectacular pictures:

I scanned them into my computer so the quality may have suffered a bit, but I assure you the pictures look AMAZING in person. THANKS torchy! You're the best!! I love them so much and can't wait to get them framed and hanging on my wall! :)

Mad Libs #1

Matt over at Debriefing the Boys, which by the way is an AWESOME blog, recently blogged about anonymity in the blogging world and how he has to censor things that may reveal too much about his friends because he feels that it's not his story to tell when it directly involves other people.

So he wrote an entire paragraph using "[______]" for anything that would be too revealing. In the comments of that post, someone decided to play Mad Libs and filled in those blanks at his choosing. I thought it was HILARIOUS and thought it would be a fun game to play here.

Plus, it's another way to blog about my boring life without letting it get too boring on this blog! So I'll write a paragraph about something and put several blanks in there... then you all will comment on the post and fill in the blanks. I may or may not reveal what REALLY should be in the blanks in another post. Ready? Here we go:

Today, I was woken up by [________]. I couldn't get back to sleep so I just decided to [________]. At work, I felt so [________] because I was able to [________] for [________]. Tonight, I came home to find [________] and [________] watching TV. Apparently, [________] had already finished putting the [________] up, which made me really excited. Then I went online to chat with [________]. He was very [________] so he asked if I would [________] for him. I agreed, so I brought my [________] into the bathroom and [________]. =P

Have fun!
EDIT: Feel free to fill in with completely silly and out-of-place answers! That's the fun part of Mad Libs!! The more nonsense the better! HAHA!

Penelope

My favorite sketch on SNL right now are the "Penelope" skits with Kristin Wiig. She's SOOO freakin' hilarious. She's the ultimate one-upper. And the things that come out of her mouth are just AMAZING. Check them out:

"My biological father is George Washington, so... a little more famous, so... he's on the dollar bill... I am too, that's my eye on the pyramid, so..." HAHAHAHA

A Broken Promise

I'm pretty sure I made a promise to blog more often... Well that went to shit now didn't it?

I really want to try and blog more often.. even about things that don't seem like such a big deal. I want to keep this thing up to date. So I just have to get over the fact that my life isn't as amazingly exciting and just write. And maybe I just have to try and make things that really aren't that great just SOUND exciting in my writing. Maybe I just need to start making stuff up... or adding words that will make an impact..

For example, I normally would write:
Today, I went to the market and bought a box of cereal.

But from now on, I will write:
Today, I used my jetpack and flew to the market to buy a box of COCK.

You know.. work in progress.. I'll work on fine-tuning it a bit more.

Guys With iPhones (Part 3), Fleshbot

So Guys With iPhones once again chose my picture to be posted on their site. :) I was really excited to see my picture up there with all the other hotties dressed up for Halloween, like this guy here:

But not only did I get my picture posted on Guys With iPhones, it somehow found its way on Fleshbot. Basically, Fleshbot is a site that rounds up all the hot, gay material out there on the internet. I think my sluttiness definitely has risen to a new level now that I made it onto Fleshbot. HAHA. Thanks to my buddy Barry for discovering the link and sending it to me! :P

Halloween = Success!!

So I didn't actually go anywhere on Halloween day, but I had a party the night before at a friend's house. I'm really glad I went and am really glad that I finished my costume. The final product was AWESOME and it was a big hit at the party. And I got compliments throughout the night on my abs. :P Sooooo proud of myself. LOL.

There's the completed shirt. It's a sleeveless crop top. I ironed on the Space Ranger logo in the middle and the "Lightyear." The buttons on the both sides are made of felt that I just cut up, stacked on top of each other, and glued to the shirt.

Here are the two designs that I painted on my arms... Kinda messed up the "SR" (Space Ranger) logo, but I don't think anyone noticed if they weren't in the light. And then N helped me draw the LASER logo on my right arm since I'm right-handed and didn't trust myself to make good lines using my left hand.

I even made shoes covers so that I was covered head-to-toe in Buzz Lightyear. But I didn't get a picture of it. :( Anyway, here's the final product:

You can't see, but I spray painted my hair purple because Buzz Lightyear wears a purple hood. And the fingerless gloves adds to the slut factor, don't you think? :P Oh, and I'm looking at the picture right now, but can you tell that those are booty shorts? I just bought white booty shorts from American Apparel and then glued the green onto the waistline.

I'm seriously proud that I was able to get it all done. It took quite a bit of time and effort to make all this, but it was fairly cheap and I think it was worth it in the end! I've even uploaded the above photo to Guys With iPhones so keep an eye out for it if they decide to post it on the site.

Halloween Fun

It's almost Halloween!! So that last time I talked about a costume, I was still set on the idea of using my leather jacket for something. Well, I've since scrapped that idea and now have gone a completely different route. Ok, well.. not completely different. I'm still going to be slutty and have very little clothes on... If anything, I'm going to be showing a lot MORE skin with this new costume idea.

So... this year... I'm going to be... Slutty Buzz Lightyear. Hehehehehe. This was all Bryan's idea when I was complaining to him how I couldn't find leather chaps that looked good for my Slutty Biker idea. So he just decided to help me brainstorm new ideas and Buzz Lightyear came up.

So I'm making the costume from scratch and at first I thought it would be pretty lame... But now that I've started creating it, I'm getting really excited for it! I just have a few more things that I need to do to complete it and then I'll DEFINITELY take a picture and post it here. Oh it's going to be great! But I better go on a slight diet and do some extra ab workouts from now until Halloween!! =P

Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween this year!!

UPDATE: Here's what I have of my costume so far.. Just some logos to iron-on for the shirt and then some extra touches for shoes and I'm done!

The Bad News

So this last week has been pretty eventful and busy. I've already blogged about Justin and our first date/night together. Well, we've actually been together for the past 4 nights. He's come over to hang out and we'd watch tv and cuddle and hold each other. It's really really nice. We also get hot and steamy too ;) but last night we actually just cuddled and went to bed after watching SNL on my TiVo. Felt so good to have someone put their arms around me in the middle of the night and hug me tight. And he does this thing where we'd just be holding hands watching tv and then he'll lean in and give me a kiss on the cheek. So freaking cute!!

Well I mentioned that there's bad news with Justin in my last entry... He's going to be leaving in mid-November. :( He's only here working at Disneyland temporarily and he's going to be going back home to North Carolina in November, down to Disneyworld to work a few weeks during the Holidays, and then he goes abroad to Hong Kong for a semester... It really sucks that I've found someone that has so many ridiculously random things in common with me (i.e. we both LOVE dinosaurs) and he's gonna have to leave in less than a month. I think we're both making the best of the time that we have left... Cuz I'm sure neither of us know what's going to happen when the time comes when he has to leave. We haven't discussed it, cuz we aren't anything official right now... But maybe that's just going to be how it is considering the situation. Being official will just make things harder. Sigh...

25th Birthday

6 years ago I made fun of my sister by telling her she was turning "a quarter of a century old!" and now it's my turn. :P Lots to blog about from this week of birthday celebrations. Will sit down and do it once I have more time!

Justin

Well my lunch date with Justin went exceptionally well. :)

We met for lunch at a Japanese restaurant that I had never been before but I trusted his choice because 1) he's a self-proclaimed picky eater so it must be good and 2) I love Japanese food no matter what. I got there early so I got a table and waited for him. After looking at the menu for a bit, he walked in and sat down. Was I supposed to stand up and hug him? I never know what to do in that situation... He let me know his recommendations on the menu and it sounded real good. So I got a lunch combination that was fairly cheap, so I was happy. We proceeded to just chat about different things. I was happy that there were no awkward silences. I've expressed many times on here that my big fear on a date is having awkward silences... so I'm VERY happy that there were none of those.

After lunch was over, there was still time before I had to go to work so he suggested we walk around the area a little. I took that as a good sign that he wanted to spend more time with me. :) We walked around a bit and saw that there was a big Halloween store and we both decided we wanted to check it out. We just walked around the store having a great time making fun of the costumes they sell nowadays. We said that they might as well rename Halloween as Slutty Day. Oh and I actually found a pair of costume chaps that would work well for my "Sexy Biker Dude" costume, but they were a bit big. They were one-size-fits-all, which meant way too big... I'll have to think about it and see if I can adjust/alter them somehow. After the Halloween store, we also walked into Cost Plus World Market where I bought some Sour Cola Bottle Candies that I hadn't been able to find ANYWHERE else! Such an awesome find!!

After that, it was time for me to go to work. He genuinely seemed sad that it was time for me to go to work and told me he had a good time and that we should do this again soon. We parted ways at the parking structure and I walked back to my car with big smile on my face. :)

After work, I planned a Lost marathon with my friends where we would watch multiple episodes of Lost Season 2. We decided on ordering Thai food, because it sounded so good to all of us. I was texting Justin about this and invited him over for some Thai food if he wouldn't mind watching Lost with us. We had discussed this while at Cost Plus but he said he had never watched Lost. So to my surprise, he agreed to come! Of course I was excited that he wanted to spend more time with me.

While he was heading over, I actually started chatting with Bryan (Justin and my mutual friend) online and he let me know that Justin had told him that he had a great time on the date. It was really cool to get insider information like this. hehe. I told him about him coming over to have Thai food and watch Lost and he said that it was a definitely a good sign that he would want to come over. He just told me to be confident in myself with him and that we are both good guys and that he approves. :)

So Justin came over and I introduced him to my friends. I have a couch that fits three and then a chaise lounge that fits one. My two other friends that were there are an item so I let them sit on one side of the couch together while I sat on the other side of the couch and Justin on the chaise. I would've much rather tried to cuddle up with Justin, but that wasn't going to be possible. Oh Justin was a trooper.. he stuck through 5 episodes of Lost before my friends called it quits for the night. He watched the first 5 episodes of Season 2 without having watched any of Season 1 before. He must've been utterly confused.

After my friends left, he also said he was going to head out but he let my friends leave first so we could chat a little more. Somehow the chatting led to Family Guy and how he didn't watch the episode where Stewie built a device that transported him and Brian to different universes and one of them being where everything is drawn in the style of Disney cartoons. So I told him I could bring it up on my laptop in my room. Unfortunately, there was only a twin bed where we could both sit on *wink wink* so we had to sit pretty close to each other on the bed.

After what happened with Jon and how we watched TV on my bed and didn't even touch, I decided I was not going to make the same mistake. I purposely placed my hand close to his hand on several occasions to see what he would do. He didn't pull away. And finally I just let my fingers touch his, and he responded by wrapping his fingers around mine. Soon after, we were holding hands and caressing each other's fingers... all the while watching a hilarious episode of Family Guy. LOL.

Family Guy was way too short and the episode ended only after a few minutes of hand holding, so I suggested we watch some SNL clips on Hulu which he had told me about earlier in the day. So we ended up searching for several Kristin Weig clips that were hilarious (Penelope Traffic School, Penelope Therapy, Gilly, Lawrence Welk Show). We laughed soooo hard together. It was great that we had the same sense of humor.

By this time, we had moved on from just hand holding to full on cuddle with hands running through hair and hands caressing chests. So when we exhausted our Hulu videos, we were so ready to just make out. He had really soft lips and he was a gentle kisser. He was the first to initiate tongue and while he was slightly more forceful with the tongue, it wasn't to the point where I didn't like it (i.e. Slobberfest from Hawaii). At this point, we were groping each other everywhere; we just couldn't keep our hands off each other.

Pretty soon, both our hands went south and we could feel each other's hard-ons. It seemed he was waiting for my cue because he wouldn't brush up against my dick until I had done so. He didn't grab my ass I had grabbed his ass. So I just went for it and unzipped his pants and he did the same with me. We were still passionately kissing during this whole time as we jacked each other off. As we got close, he climbed on top of me and grabbed both our dicks in his hands and jacked us off together. We came at the same time; it was soooo hot.

We cleaned ourselves off and then went to bed together in my teeny tiny bed. We were still half naked and his body heat kept me warm while it rained outside. So nice to have someone to cuddle up with at night. At around 1045am, I shot up in bed and thought to myself "FUCK! I forgot to tell him to move his car." Just like how I got a parking ticket for parking downstairs, Justin was surely going to get a ticket for parking overnight. But I didn't say anything because at this point, he had his hands on my leg and was brushing his hands dangerously close to my growing bulge. So I just let him keep going because if the parking officer was going to give the ticket, he would've already done so earlier in the day.. so no use telling him at this moment. I'm horrible, I know!! but I'm super horny in the mornings, especially if there's a cute boy sleeping next to me! So after we finished up, I finally told him and I said that I'd pay for his ticket.

We left the apartment to go have a quick lunch before I had to go to work and we checked his car then, and he indeed got a ticket. But he refused to let me pay for his ticket, saying that it wasn't my fault and that he didn't intend on staying the night. I still felt really bad and kept offering while he kept denying it. So when he was leaving, I told him I'd make it up to him somehow. ;)

Throughout the day today, we've continued to chat through texting. I think we definitely hit it off and that there's something there. PLUS, I have insider information from Bryan telling me that Justin really had a great time and that he's really into me. YAY!! Unfortunately there is some bad news to the whole Justin situation, which I guess I'll save for the next blog.... This is a giant blog entry already...

Juggling

I never really thought that I'd be one of these people, but I'm currently juggling three guys and, I'm not going to lie, it's kind of cool. lol. Seriously, I never thought that I'd even have guys interested in me, let alone THREE guys. Well, the first guy, I've talked about: Jason. And he's not the best one out of the three. Basically, I've sort of given up on having any sort of real relationship with him and so I've contacted him less ove the past two or three weeks. And I think he's starting to realize that and has been trying to get me to see him (to do the nasty, of course... =P) And actually, I did agree to meet him this Thursday because, frankly, I'm horny. But I really do think that our "relationship" now has strictly become fuck buddies, and I'm totally fine with that.

Boy #2 is Cute Boy, which I've referred to a few times on this blog. His name is Kyle. He's a really sweet and nice kid, but I'm gonna have to say he's a bit young and I am discovering that we don't have too much in common with each other. He's nice to look at and all, but that only lasts for so long. We do chat with each other a lot though. A lot of texting. And we just talk about nothing in particular and it's fun to just have someone to do that with... but I would consider him just a really good friend. Unfortunately, I complicated it for myself by inviting him over one night last week and we ended up sleeping together. I was feeling lonely after what happened with Ohio last week and I guess I just wanted to feel better about myself. But I am regretting it because I think Kyle now expects more from me and I'm not sure I can provide that for him if I'm not that interested in him romantically...

Boy #3 is a very recent development. This weekend, Bryan from Disney World came to visit. For those who have been a reader of my blog, then you know that Bryan is a boy I met up with when I went to Florida this past June. Well nothing happened between Bryan and me and we just became good friends. So he was out here visiting Disneyland and I played in the parks with him and his friends for a few days. Well, Bryan also has a friend, Justin, that he used to work with in Disney World but now works at Disneyland. When I first saw Justin, I thought, "Ooo, he's cute! Why didn't I meet him earlier when he first came out to Disneyland?" And he's a BIG Disney goob, which I really like. And to top it off, he loves dinosaurs. HAHA. The night that we met, we were going to sit down to watch a show that wasn't to start for another 30 minutes, so Justin said that he was going to go find some snacks to buy and eat. Noone else wanted to move because they were tired, but I immediately asked if I could tag along. I'm so proud of myself for doing that because I NEVER take the initiative when it comes to boys. I'm really glad that I tagged along because we had time to chat and learn about each other while waiting in line for food. We did the same thing the next night when we all hung out again. So tonight, I text him and asked if he wanted to grab lunch tomorrow and he agreed. We're going for some Japanese food (YUMMMMM!). I'm so excited to see what comes of this.

Like I said, I never thought I'd be one to be juggling guys like this. I still see myself as this nerdy, dorky, average-looking, bumbling idiot that noone would even take a second look at, so it's just a big surprise to me that 3 guys would be interested in me at one time. Does this make me ... a player?? LOL =P

Update on the Drama

So I posted this as a reply to all the comments from my last post about Ohio and James and I think it warrants its own post:

"Thank you for all your comments everyone. I'm glad that everyone sees it the way I see it. But I've had the whole day to cool off and I think I'm going to just let it go and chalk it up to a lesson learned.. it'll make me a better person if I don't hold the grudge. I mean, it was early enough that there really was no harm done, so I can't really be that mad.

I'll speak to James again, but I don't think our friendship can be the same as before. And I've already spoken briefly with Ohio again, just to keep things civil.

Am I being much too nice a person?..."

Why You Can't Trust Your "Friends"

Tonight, I learned that you really just can't trust your "friends."

This is all out of order now because I was going to blog about a new boy that I started seeing. This new boy, we'll call him Ohio, is cute and we had a lot of interests in common. I found out that he works at Disneyland too and that we were actually neighbors. He lives across the street from me. So we hung out one night and just talked and talked and it was fun. We also watched TV together and had lunch, so things were (I thought) going pretty well.

2 days ago, he came to watch me in the parade, which was really cute. My friend in the parade, James, spotted him out in the crowd and asked who he was and I told him he was a boy that I was starting to see and going on a date with. James said he was really cute and I could tell he was jealous.

That night, James Facebook chatted me and asked me about him. He asked for his name and I told him. And then he said he's friend request him on Facebook. Half-jokingly I told him, "Don't steal him from me!" And he just said he just wanted to check him out on Facebook and be friends. And all I could say back was, "Well, you do whatever you want James" because it was too late now. He already had his name and could look him up. I already had a bad feeling about it as soon as that conversation was over.

The next day, Ohio asks me who this James person was because he friend requested him on Facebook. I told him that he was a friend from parades and I had told him his name because he had asked. Ohio said he recognized him from the parade but just wanted to make sure and that he doesn't accept friend requests from people he doesn't know.

Yesterday, before work, I asked what Ohio was doing and he said he was going to be in the park the whole day and he'll watch me in the parade again. I asked what he was doing afterwards and said he already had plans with his roommates. Oh well. So he watched the parade and I danced for him. Again, cute that he came to watch.

I went home and started watching TV. An hour later, I looked at my Facebook and saw that Ohio had mobile uploaded a photo of himself and James on Space Mountain! I saw the picture and I was sooooo freakin' livid. I was actually shaking and just couldn't move for a few minutes. I was so mad! I text James: "Wow..." And he had the audacity to pretend he didn't know what was wrong. I told him he knows exactly what is wrong and don't play dumb. Played dumb again. Here's the text conversation.. (and I left all of his spelling/grammar mistakes in)

Me:  Hope you have fun with your new friend. I can't believe you...

James:  Doug seriously. Why r u being like that.

Me:  You know if you just told me, I probably wouldn't be this upset. That's messed up and you know it. And it doesn't matter what your intentions are with him. Even tho im pretty sure what they are. It's hard enough for me to find new friends... Why couldn't you find your own?

James:  Wow. How older than u r than me and ur reacting like this seriously. You've been on dates with him I haven't. Really.

Me:  There's nothing wrong with what you did.. It's how you did it. Seriously you could have told me.

James:  exactly what did I do ?!!!

Me:  James, it's simple courtesy to tell me that you were going to hang out with him. You know Im interested him. It's the least you could have done.

No responses (for a while) after that. In the meanwhile, Ohio texts me as well:

Ohio: Hey don't be mad at James. I'm sorry this was my fault. I should have told you. If you're upset, be upset at me

I didn't respond to him at all. I just wasn't in the mood to talk to him either. you know, we had only hung out a little bit and nothign really happened between us yet. So we weren't really much more than friends yet. But I started to like him because he was nice and easy to talk to. But no matter how long I had known him, James knew that I was interested in him and that we were going on dates.

At midnight, James and Ohio both text me. Ohio says that it's all his fault. He was the one that messaged him and the one who invited him to hang out. He admits it was really shitty to do. I respond back that I obviously can't tell him who to hang out with but the fact that neither of them told me was what I was upset about. Ohio admits that he wanted to keep it quiet for a bit. I asked why, and he said because he didn't want to hurt me. And he kept telling me not to be mad at James. I just told him that it's as much his fault for not telling me about it.

James said he doesn't want to lose me as a friend and doesn't want this to come between us. He says he knows he's in the wrong now but then he complains that he thinks I'm mad at his intentions. I respond back that I'm most upset about him hiding it from me, and not his intentions to "steal" him from me or whatever. He says he wasn't hiding anything. So I ask, "so you don't think there was any need for you to tell me that you guys were hanging out?" He asks, "he didn't tell you anything?" I say, "No he didn't, but you didn't think to mention it to me when you saw me at work?" He says, "He invited me after work when you were gone."

Sigh.. I was done at that point. I just said, "Ok well thanks for the explanation." Again, he says he doesn't want to lose me as a friend, but I don't respond.

Could he not have TEXT me after he got the invitation? You guys might be thinking that I totally over-reacted over a boy that I hardly even know yet.. and maybe I did a little bit. But I still think that it was a super shitty thing for BOTH of them to do. I'm really not sure who I'm mad at more. I just can't believe that a friend would do this...

Halloween Costume Possibility?

So going through my closet, I found/remembered that I own a really nice leather jacket that I bought in Italy about 5 years ago. I'm thinking sexy biker boy... something like that.

I posted this on Twitter earlier today, but I thought I'd share it here too. :P

Answers to the Mosaic Game

So it looks like those of you who guessed my answers did pretty well! Congrats! Here are my answers:

1) Where are you from? (you can choose to answer with your country, state/province, or city)

I live in Disneyland. haha. Yes, inside it. LOL. I wish!! But I do live in the city that Disneyland is located: Anaheim, CA. I live 3 minutes away from the Happiest Place on Earth! :)
2) What's your favourite food?
SUSHI!! So good! I actually had All-You-Can-Eat sushi two nights ago and I was in heaven! YUMMY YUM YUM!
3) What's your favourite drink?
I feel like my favorite drink changes frequently. If it was about a year ago, I would've said Coca Cola. But I've since quit all sodas/pop (whatever you guys call it hehe) and so I drink a lot of tea. And Arizona Lemon Iced Tea is now my FAVORITE! I'm going to have a glass right now!!
4) What's your ideal/favourite (future) job/career?
Some of you were on the right track in guessing this one. I really hope to one day be in charge of the Entertainment Department at Disneyland. It's a far reach for a goal, but there is a possibility. I just need to start getting on the right track in doing that. Hopefully my Masters degree will help in that!
5) What's your favourite thing about yourself?
I had trouble coming up with this because I don't really like too much about myself. But I would say that my smile is a nice feature. I seem to always be smiling and I do it as part of my job. So it better be pretty nice! haha.
6) What's the place you most want to visit?
AUSTRALIA! I visited the land down under when I was 4 years old, but I want to go back! I have relatives in Melbourne, but yet I haven't gone to visit. Maybe the $2000+ air fare is the cause of that... haha. It's just so beautiful - the scenery AND the guys! hehe. And I just love an Aussie accent! Mmmm! Who wants to sponsor me on a trip to Australia??
7) What's your favourite body feature on someone else?
Whenever I check out a guy, my eyes always go straight to the arms. Biceps and triceps are sooo hot! There's just nothing like strong arms to hold you!
8) What's your favourite Movie?
It was hard to choose one movie to put on here, but I will have to say Jurassic Park... the original, of course. :) There are others that I was considering (Love Actually, Finding Nemo) but Jurassic Park has just always been up there because I LOVE dinosaurs. And when I saw it in theaters, I just remembered being in AWE when I first watched the scene with the Brachiosaur towering over Dr. Grant. Oh, Steven Spielberg is a genius (and I'm a big nerd) :P
9) What's your favourite TV show?
LOST!! Lost is my absolute favorite TV show right now. I can't wait until the 6th Season starts in January. Unfortunately, it's the last season... but it's been a good run. I have a few friends who are LOST fanatics like me and we're trying to go through all the episodes from the first 5 seasons before the premiere in January so that we can pick up on clues and hidden references. We're still on Season 1... working on it!
10) Choose one word that best describes you
OMG I can't believe someone got it from the picture. Yes.. I'm LAZY LAZY LAZY!! I wake up at noon every day and I sleep/nap anywhere and everywhere. I don't like to walk.. EVER. I always want to take my car.. even to go to the grocery store, which is only a few hundred yards away. HAHA. I'm SOOO lazy... it's really bad.
11) What time period would you most like to have lived in? (in the past)
I really would've loved to live in the disco era. The dancing was sooo fun. And everything seemed so much more free spirited. But aside from the 70s, I think ancient Greek would've been my second choice. I always loved Greek Mythology so it would've been cool to actually live during the time when people believed in all of it.
12) What's the next thing you're (probably...) going to purchase?
I may have cheated on this one and changed the question (in my mind) to 'What do I WANT to purchase next?' And a surround sound stereo system is what I want!! The sound quality of the TV in the living is HORRIBLE. The speakers point DOWNWARD from the TV and into the ground. So we can never hear anything. And if we turn it up too loud, the sound gets distorted. SOO annoying. So now I want a sound system that I can actually HEAR the action. :)
Yay that was a fun game! Hope you guys learned a little more about me. It seems like everyone's been tagged in the game already though so I have no idea who to tag.. perhaps AJ will participate... if he has time to even blog? He hasn't blogged in a while. Miss you AJ!

DILDO! HAHA!

OMG, I have to share this right this instant. (Explicit content!)

So last night, I used my dildo with Jason. Well, he used it on me. Anyway... We had fun and then we went to clean up. So I finished cleaning and just threw the dildo in the shower to let it dry cuz we were both hungry and wanted to leave right away for food. And that's where I left it for the WHOLE day because I completely forgot about it.

Tonight, I had friends over for a little TV. I'm sure someone used the restroom during this time. The shower was wide open.. the curtain wasn't closed. The friends have left now, and I just now went to use the bathroom. While I was in there, I noticed an object in the tub... I did a double take. My dildo was definitely in plain sight!! None of my friends said anything.... I wonder if anyone saw it! HAHAHA! How embarrassing!! LOL.

The Rest of Hawaii

As promised, this post will be about the rest of my time in Hawaii. It definitely took me a while to get this posted. And it's not even that I have no time, because I do... I just spend all my time sleeping though. HAHA. I've been so incredibly lazy. Bad Doug! Well, here's my last post on Hawaii -- WARNING: It's a long one!

So it's our last night in Waikiki and we wanted to have some fun. Zack and I, the gay boys, wanted to go to a gay bar. We had been to the straight bar and it really just wasn't all that exciting or fun for us (obviously) so we asked our group if we could try going to a gay bar. The others were very nice to agree to it. And it's probably because they didn't have that much fun at the straight bar either... It was just us standing there with drinks in hand doing nothing but yelling at each other because the music was so loud. So I did some research on my iPhone and found the Hula's Gay Bar located in the Waikiki Grand Hotel. It got some great reviews and N and her friends had heard of it before so we decided on that.

We got there and it was a smaller bar with just a small space for dancing, but it was good enough for us. We quickly went up to the bar and ordered ourselves a drink. I don't usually drink, but I figured I'm in Hawaii, in a gay bar, I might as well drink something to try and loosen up. So I ordered myself a Midori Sour. And the bartender must have just known by looking at me that I'm a lightweight because my drink had the perfect amount of alcohol for me. I still took some time to drink it, but after just drinking about half of it, I was already feeling it. I told you I'm a lightweight...

A blurry, no-flash shot of the bar and my friends. Thought it looked cool

So by then, Zack and I had moved out to the dance floor and we started tearing it up. Zack had his shirt open because it was HOT in there. Sweating so much. I was too. So I stripped to my wifebeater. And I was dancing a lot... I don't really like dancing when I'm at clubs.. I just feel awkward. I know I dance for a living... but I like choreographed dancing. I don't like club dancing.. because I suck at it. But the alcohol must've been doing its job and I was just going crazy.

After a bit of that, Zack disappeared, but my other friends were still with me, sitting down in front of me while I was just dancing by myself (those punks!) when suddenly this guy went up to Chris and started saying hello. He then asked if we were all gay, which threw Chris off since he's straight. And he kind of stammered a little bit before he could tell him that they were all straight, but I was gay. And then he says something like: "Oh good.. cuz I think you're really sexy." LOL. He clearly had a few drinks already because his speech was slightly slurred. But I let him keep going. He started talking to me.. introduced himself as Nathan. He's Puerto Rican and had lived in Colorado but now moved to Hawaii where he is going to school while working at Coach. I don't know how he got all that information out to me while drunk and how I heard all that witht he loud music blaring... He was really touchy feely.. he had his arms around me the whole time. And then my friends decided to leave me (not sure if they were trying to do me a favor or what...) so I was left alone with Nathan on the dance floor.

He led me over to the bench on the side and we sat down to talk a bit more. But pretty soon, he was kissing my shoulder. And I distinctly remember thinking "oh god.. he's kissing my shoulder.. what do I do now? Am I supposed to kiss his shoulder now?..." And while I was thinking all that, he moves on to my neck and then pretty soon he gets up and gets in front of me and then goes for my lips. Ok.. so I'm in Hawaii. And this is all harmless fun so I just go along with it and let my inhibitions go. BUT, this guy is just about THE WORST kisser on earth. THE WORST.

Imagine having a vacuum planted on your lips... that's what this was. Imagine a dog with its tongue slobbering all over your mouth... that's what this was. Blech... just thinking about it makes me want to gag a little. I don't push him off of me cuz I was still a bit shocked at how horrible this guy is. Maybe it was the alcohol and he just wasn't able to control his kissing? But man, it was sooo bad. He finally let up and he excused himself saying he'll be right back. And all I was thinking was... GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE!

So I walk around the club looking for my friends. Luckily the bar is small and I find Zack talking with a bunch of gays. And I just sit next to him and tell him about my situation. And I'm just sitting there trying to hide because I didn't want him to find me again and hoover my face. And then about 5 minutes later, I spot Erik and I call him over. The first thing he says to me is "What are you doing here? Nathan is looking everywhere for you." AHHH! Apparently, Nathan found my friends and started talking to them. So I told Erik to tell them to leave him! Erik goes over to N, who is having a full on conversation with Nathan about me. She's actually talking me up, telling him that I have a Masters degree and that I do P90X. HAHAHA. She was most obviously drunk too. So Erik goes up to here and pretends to dance with her and tells her: "ABORT MISSION! ABORT!" LOL. I laughed so hard when he told me this later.

Chris, N, and me while hiding from Nathan

So yes, a little immature to just hide from him... but I was slightly drunk and really didn't know what to do. HAHA. But we had a great time just hanging out with each other and just bouncing to the music. The Hula Gay Bar was a fun little place and was a great way to spend the last night in Waikiki together. So we finally decided to leave the bar... we walk out the bar and are about to head downstairs to the lobby when... guess who!!... Nathan is walking out of the bathroom and into the same hallway as us. We awkwardly say goodbye to each other as I run downstairs. OMG... we were laughing our heads off as we got down to the lobby. The security guard had to tell us to keep it down. HAHA... what a way to end the night. :P

The next day, we decided to drive to Diamond Head National Park and hike the trail up the mountain to the peak. It was our last activity in Waikiki and I'm glad we did it. The hike was harder than I had expected but it was good exercise. Sweating profusely of course.. but there was a nice breeze at the top and the view was absolutely amazing.

Looking back down at our trail

View of Waikiki from the peak of  Diamond Head

I had such an AMAZING time in Hawaii. Word really can't describe how much fun I had. The group of us really want to make this an annual thing. And I'm TOTALLY down for that idea because Hawaii is just absolutely beautiful. After coming back home from there, I actually researched some teaching jobs in Hawaii because I might actually want to live there! hehe. The culture is just amazing and the people are so nice. I HIGHLY recommend Hawaii to be your next vacation.. you won't regret it!

**OH yeah! Cheapoair.com emailed me a few days ago telling me that they had found my blog and read my posts about Hawaii. They're interested in me becoming a guest blogger on their blog and want me to write a 300-500 word guest post about my trip to Hawaii! How cool is that? I'm working on it now and hopefully you'll see it on their site soon! Be sure to check the site out because it's a great way to find travel deals!**

"You are sooo fricking awesome!"

That was the first thing I read from the email I got from Drew Ferguson, the author of The Screwed-Up Life of Charlie the Second!! (Click the link to see my previous post on the book) I got so excited to see his email! He apologized for taking so long to reply, but thanked me for writing a post about him and his book and for emailing him personally. So cool to actually have contact with a published author! Really made my day. ;) He also divulged some information on a future project of his, which made me feel REALLY cool because he shared it with me. All I can say is that I'm UBER-excited!!

Thanks, Drew, for writing back! You are truly an amazing writer and I can't wait to read your books in the future!

**My next post, I promise, will finally be about my experience at the Hula Gay Bar in Hawaii. I'm writing this so that I hold myself accountable for actually finally posting about it! It's taken me long enough!!**

P.S. I Love You

Just watched the movie "P.S. I Love You." It was recommended to me by a friend at work. She had the DVD at work because someone else had just returned it to her. So she loaned it to me after I said I like movies that make me cry. I'm such a big sap. I love emotional movies that make me tear up. Some time it's just nice to have a good cry. And I definitely got that with this movie. It wasn't the best movie ever, but it did its job. I still have dried tears on my face right now. So if you want a good, emotional movie to watch, then I suggest "P.S. I Love You."

As I was watching the movie, Cute Boy starts texting me. We both have a love for crying movies. I suggested this one to him. And then he said that we should have a "crying movie night" together. Hmmm... I don't know if this is just a way to get me to spend time with him. He's kind of been going around to all the boys in my department and trying to talk with them. We've only text and online chat each other... never actually talked in person. So I'm sort of hesitant to hang out with him. But he IS a nice guy, from what I can tell from our conversations. And he really isn't bad to look at. :P Maybe I could try hanging out with him once to see how he is in person...

In other news, I was chatting with someone online about Jason. He asked if everything was going alright with me and Jason. And that's when I realized that I think I'm done trying to have a relationship with Jason. If, by this time, Jason still doesn't know whether he wants a relationship with me (something more than just a fuck buddy), then I don't think I want a relationship with him. It's just not good for me to wait for him. So I'm not going to. But I do want to stay a fuck buddy with him.. hehe.. The sex is good and I'm horny all the time so it works. ;)

Well, time to head to bed. Please leave me some comments. I love comments. I'm a comment whore. So leave some. Especially from the ones that follow my blog but I never hear from. I'd love to hear from you guys too! :)

Guys With iPhones (Part 2)

Looks like they've already accepted my picture! :P That didn't take as long as I thought it would! HAHA. So go over to Guys With iPhones and leave me a comment there! ;) I'm a comment whore. I love comments!

Guys With iPhones

I was just introduced to a new obsession by my friend Joey. It's called "Guys With iPhones." It's basically a page where guys with iphones can upload pics of themselves. And some of these photos are YUMMY! Take this one for example:

I love having good looking boys to look at. And whoever thought of this site deserves a gold star in my book! hehehe. I've uploaded a pic of myself, but it takes time for the moderators of the site to check and post them on the site. I'm guessing mine won't even be approved and even if it is, it'll take weeks before they get to mine. But I'll keep you guys updated on that. HEHE. In the meantime, here are a few more good looking guys from the site.

Adventures in Waikiki!

Waikiki was so gorgeous! So N's parents are the nicest, most generous people. Our original plan was to stay with N's family for 6 or our 7 nights in Hawaii and then stay in a hotel in Waikiki for 1 night just to experience being in the Waikiki area. Well, when we arrived in Hawaii we were told that N's parents had actually secured THREE nights at the Hale Koa Hotel on the shores of Waikiki! This MAY be because they didn't want us in the house for all 6 nights... but no matter the motivation, they paid for 3 night at a hotel for us! Soooo very cool.

 The Hale Koa Hotel
On our 1st full day in Waikiki we were yet again treated to another surprise. Our original plan was to have N's cousin, Eric, teach us how to surf. We had asked him two days earlier when we had dinner together, but he said he was unable to do it because of work. However he said he'd try to work something out with his friend that runs a surfing shop on the beach. Well, we found out that surfing lessons were going to be $45/person ... but Eric paid for ALL 4 of us!! (N didn't surf.. she stayed on the beach to tan. hehe)

Getting ready to hit the waves!

It was such a great time learning to surf. I really thought that I was going to have a harder time learning. And I'm not being cocky, but it was actually really easy. We had assistance, of course. The instructor would find the waves for us and give us a push to get us going. But getting on the board and staying on it was really easy. I guess being a dancer helps with the balance on the board. It was sooo fun. There were a few times when I had to just stop myself to take it all in and acknowledge that I was SURFING in freakin HAWAII! Oh so good!
We even got free pictures from the surfing shop!!
That night, I was not done being out on the beach so I proposed a late night walk along the shore. N and Erik were up for it, while Chris and Zack stayed in the hotel. I'm so glad that I went out there because the water was SO beautiful. The moonlight was shimmering in the water and looked so amazing! And I went out to feel the water... STILL WARM! Felt so nice to have the water on my feet. We were out there for almost an hour because it was so nice. My first time being at the beach at night. I live very close to the beach in California but the beaches here are COLD at night so I've never wanted to go. But so different in Hawaii!! Had such a great night.

So I'm saving the best post about Hawaii for last.. and it's coming up soon. It's about my time at the luau and the gay bar. I've been wanting to tell the story for a while -- I've been wanting to just tell all my friends but I'm afraid that I'd seem slutty if I went around blabbing it. HAHA. Intrigued yet??

Update on Miles

If you haven't read about my friendship with Miles ending, then you may want to read it here before moving on.

Well, Miles actually wrote me an email while I was in Hawaii. He started off by calling me a nickname that he knows I hate. And he even acknowledges that in the email. So WHY he would do that is beyond me. Maybe he's trying to be funny... but that's not the route to take when you're trying to reconcile.

Then he says that it's obvious that we haven't talked to each other in a long while and that he'd like to sit down and chat so that he can "get stuff off his chest." Off HIS chest? The only thing he should be doing is apologizing. That put me off already...

So I was cordial and replied to him. I told him that I would be back at work after Hawaii and that we can talk then. Well, I've since returned to work. He's had many opportunities to come and talk to me. Again, I still don't find reason for me to make the effort. He's the one that needs to apologize so he should come and talk to me. He knows where I am at work and there are ample amounts of opportunity for him to have a private conversation with me. He just doesn't do it.

I know many of you have commented saying that I should just be the better person and initiate the conversation. And I may have to do that, but it's just so annoying that he won't do it. And I have a feeling it's because he feels that he has done NOTHING wrong. He NEVER thinks he is wrong. In anything that we do. Even if it's CLEAR that he's wrong, he'll make some excuse or place the blame on someone else. So it's probably the case here.

Just completely frustrating and I really don't know what I want to do with it. I don't think our friendship will ever be the same even if we reconcile, but maybe I need to just do something so that it's not as awkward as it has been at work where we don't say more than 2 words to each other in the entire day...

Hawaiian Food and First Hawaiian Beach Experience

I think I definitely have the same tastes as Hawaiians when it comes to food. I loved everything that I ate there. My friend N was born and raised in Hawaii. She moved to California for college and work. So naturally, she was our tour guide when we go to Hawaii. She brought us to all the local favorites and they were all amazing.

My first taste of Hawaii was breakfast at Cinnamon's. They had the normal breakfast foods (eggs, toast, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, etc.) and all of that was YUMMY. But they also had amazing omelets and eggs benedict. I wish I took pictures of all the food that I ate, but here are two from Cinnamon's.

Makes your mouth water doesn't it?

Another local breakfast favorite was Boots and Kimo. This is where I experienced the famous Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes! OMG. They are like HEAVEN. The bananas are baked into the pancakes and then topped with this creamy, sweet macadamia nut sauce/syrup. I couldn't eat enough of them. Well... I lie about that. Unfortunately, my stomach was still a bit queezy from my bout with food poisoning just a few days earlier, so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted to. But what I did eat was AMAZING and super fulfilling. If anyone ever goes to Hawaii, I highly recommend these pancakes at Boots and Kimo. You can find it in Kailua, the CDP (census designated place... not city) where we stayed in.

Other mentionable yummies were the Shrimp Trucks on the way to North Shore. They're little portable catering trucks that serve shrimp in many flavors. N had actually never had any in her 20 years of living on Oahu, yet they're supposedly super famous. HAHA. So N was very intrigued to try them with us. And soooo glad that we did because it was amazing. We got the Garlic Butter Shrimp and shared it. Again, I was still recovering from being sick so I didn't eat as much -- and now totally bummed that I didn't have more because they were absolutely amazing.

It may look dirty, but that's usually where you find the best food

We also had Lanikai Juice, a little smoothie shop with really creamy, yummy flavors. I love mangoes so I got the Mango Surise, which had mangoes, guava juice, and pineapple juice. So freakin' good. Chris got a Smoothie Bowl, which is a big bowl of smoothie, topped with freshly cut fruit on top. He got the Chocolate Banana smoothie bowl. Really great flavors together.

Speaking of Lanikai, I highly recommend the beach at Lanikai. It's like a small little getaway. It's almost like a private beach because it's small, clean, and beautiful. N made it a point to bring us to Lanikai Beach FIRST because it's her favorite and the most beautiful out of all the beaches she's been to in Oahu. Seriously, the water is CLEAR. The sand was so smooth. And the weather was nice. It was a bit overcast and sprinkled a little when we first got there, but it soon cleared up and the sun was beaming down on us. Not only was the water nice and warm, but there were already some hotties to look at already. :P There was a hot boy with his dog further down the beach, so N and I did some investigation to make sure he had a nice head on his body. And he did. :) It was just surreal to me to be walking along the beach in freakin HAWAII!

The beach blends into the water.. and the sky is just the perfect backdrop.

We just laid out on the beach for an hour or two. My goal was to get rid of my tanlines so I had to start right away. Except, I think I was in the sun for too long. I hadn't laid out in a long while and I think the sun really took a toll on my body. By 8pm, I was already super tired. We had plans to go out and enjoy the nightlife that night, but I completely fell asleep right after I showered. And so did N and Erik and Zack. Chris was the only one who stayed awake. But it was fine, because we had other nights to go out. It was just awesome to have a great first beach experience... one that I will never forget. :)
