Mini Vacation

I'm always on some sort of vacation, aren't I?

It's my friend Kevin's birthday today and to celebrate, we're going to LAS VEGAS!! Vegas is his favorite place in the whole wide world. He goes there overnight on his days off. Pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. LOL. But I was excited when he invited me to go! Vegas is the only place where I feel comfortable drinking. And I only drink the Peach Bellini at Fat Tuesdays. (I'm sure I've blogged about this before on all my other Vegas posts... :P)

Kevin's already there with some of our other friends and then a few of us are driving up today beacuse we couldn't afford missing too many days of work. But it's better this way anyway because I think spending 3 nights at Vegas is too much. I would just spend way too much money.

I do plan on spending money on a really nice buffet. I'm going to try and convince people to go to the Rio Village Seafood Buffet!! It's my FAVORITE buffet ever!! It's so freakin' good! But I guess any buffet with crab legs is good. I just LOVE crab legs!!! They might be my favorite expensive food. ;)

And if the guys don't want to go to a buffet.. I have a backup plan. Justin is also in Vegas. It's actually going to be my last time seeing Justin. He's in Vegas for a convention and then he drives his way across country to go back home. So I do want to see him one last time. He also suggested that I stay with him on Saturday night as a last goodbye... probably because he's horny. To be frank (and this is the perfect place to be), I've sort of lost my attraction for him. He's a really fun person to hang around and we have lots of things in common, but when it comes to physical attraction, it's not really there for me. Plus, he's a slobber-er... his kissing needs a lot of work. If you've read my giant Hawaii post, then you know how I feel about slobbery guys.. And it really just kills the mood when he's a bad kisser. :( Oh.. anyway.. my backup plan is to possibly break off from the group and go to a buffet with Justin. Kinda bad to break off from the birthday boy... but... I REALLY want crab legs. HAHA. But I think Kevin will also want a buffet because he loves to eat too (even though he's stick thin and super attractive) so maybe it won't be a problem. :)

Anyway, I may or may not blog using my iPhone when I'm in Vegas. But I will most likely Tweet so keep an eye on my Twitter Feed on the side if you want to keep updated on me. :P

Last Minute Vegas Trip!

This blog post is WAY overdue... but I did want to talk about it briefly. I have a few photos for show and tell. LOL. So this Vegas trip was for our friend Richard's 21st birthday! Apparently, Richard had invited Miles and he was supposed to tell me that I was invited too. This was like 2-3 weeks before the trip happened. But since Miles found out he couldn't make it, he just forgot about telling me about it. So a few days before the trip, I overheard Richard talking to another one of our friends about the trip and I was thinking, "Man, why didn't they invite me? Oh well...." And then, Richard turns to me and asks, "So how come you couldn't go?" I responded, "Oh... I didn't know about it." But YAY, I was invited! So I quickly got days off of work and packed my bags and off we went!

The trip was a whole bunch of us: Jeffrey, N, Sarah, Kevin, Michael, Richard, and his college friend Johnny. We drove in separate cars because we all couldn't fit in one. And having a Prius, I was nominated to drive. LOL. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I like driving. :) I feel like I'm in control. So along the I-15 Freeway, we decided that we wanted a little more excitement in our lives. So N rolled down the backseat windows of my car, and proceeded to pass Gummi Bears to Kevin in the lane next to us. Here is a snapshot of this amazing feat:

One of the most exciting car rides/drives to Vegas that I've ever had. :) We got to Vegas at around 1pm and we quickly checked in to our amazing 1000+ sq. feet suite at the Venetian. It was GIANT. And it had an awesome jacuzzi tub which we made good use of. After we played around with everything in the suite, we decided to go get drunk and headed out to Caesar's Palace for some Fat Tuesdays! It's basically a drink shop that serves yummy daiquiris! My favorite is the Bellini. I've blogged about it before in my last Vegas Trip post. YUMMY! The problem, though, was that I had not eaten anything. And I drank too fast. So this is what happened to me:

And there's Michael and Richard making fun of me. LOL. We had finally found some food to eat (Panda Express.. YUM!) but I was already feeling the effects of the alcohol. I just got all sleepy... I wasn't like super drunk. The food definitely helped soak up the alcohol and I was better in no time. We walked back to the Venetian and then had some fun at the pool.

There were actually some hot guys at the pool! Two of them to be exact. Amazing muscles and nice tans. Darker features. Tall. Handsome. Yum. They were swimming and playing around with, who I assume was their nephew, and I couldn't keep my eyes off of them. But then they left... too bad. But the group that I was with was eye candy enough though! I have some hot friends, I must say! We played around in the pool for a good hour. Our other friends (on their own trip) came over to visit. Here's a pic of me with Kelly (from my other Vegas trip) and N:

Oh.. and there's a random fat guy in the background of the picture. LOL. During this time, Kevin had apparently continued to drink and by the time we were leaving the pool, Kevin was completely passed out on one of the chairs. We had to practically carry him back upstairs. While Kevin was passed out, the rest of squeezed into the jacuzzi tub. Basically we were sitting around it with our feet in the water, haha, but it was still fun. We actually played, "I Have Never..." where we hold up our 10 fingers and we go around saying something we've never done before. If you HAVE done that thing, then you put a finger down. Of course, the game went from innocent to risque, with statements like, "I have never madeout with someone of the same sex." Sigh... well, we can all guess who put down all their fingers first. HAHA. The fun part of that was that two of the guys, Michael and Richard, proclaim to be "straight." So it was fun to see if they were secretive with putting their fingers down or not. Surprisingly, Michael was very upfront about a lot of it. Richard was a but more secretive. I was secretive too but people caught on.

Sidenote: I'm out to a lot of my friends now. Most everyone at work know that I'm gay, especially after I went to Gay Pride. It's nothing I hide anymore. I just don't yell it at the top of my lungs or overtly express that I'm gay. If people ask, then I will tell them.

But my friends were still surprised to see me put down fingers for certain things. Statements like, "I have never done anything sexual with more than one person," or "I have never used a dildo before" made my friends more than curious about me. However, I told them the game wasn't "20 questions" so I never elaborated on anything. HEHE. I can't tell my friends EVERYTHING about me!!

I won't bore you with more details of the day, but the rest of the night we went to Cheesecake Factory and celebrated Richard's birthday at midnight by singing him Happy Birthday really loud in public. HEHE. Fun times.

The next day, I went to the pool with Kevin bright and early (10am) to catch some rays. Definitely got darker. I LOVE a nice tan. Thank goodness I tan real easily! At around 11:30am, our other friends finally wake up and we get ready for another day of drinking!! We first head out to the Mirage Weekend Brunch Buffet. YUMMO! I ate sooooooo many crab legs. HAHA. I love buffets!! Then it was off to the Planet Hollywood for more Fat Tuesdays! This time, I drank EVEN faster. Got WAY drunker. LOL. So by the time I got home, I had a GIANT headache and needed water real bad.

I was fine after I drank that whole bottle of water. :) But I was still pretty inebriated. And all of us being drunk and zany, we decided to do a photo shoot with this thing called the "Circle Scarf" from American Apparel. We all found our own way of wearing the scarf (and barely anything else) and took pictures. Here was my best frame:

I really don't like it all that much, but I have gotten a bunch of comments from my friends about how muscular I look. YAY! I love getting comments about my growing muscles because it means my P90X program is working! I'm not posting my friends' pics, but I must say... I have some hot friends!! YUM! I want to lick them up and down so bad!! HAHAHA. I would never do that though, because they're my friends... but it's nice to fantasize about.

That night, we went to the Beatles Revolution Lounge @ the Mirage and had some fun dancing for a bit. It's not really a club, so the "dance floor" was quite small. Very crowded. But it was free, so we managed. But when drinks got spilled on my friends, we decided it was time to leave. But we did take some pictures of ourselves in the awesome sexy lighting before we left. Here I am trying to be sexy with my iPhone:

Did it work? Do I look sexy? HAHA. Don't answer that...
All in all, I had a GREAT time with my friends. Vegas just gets better every time. I ended up losing $25 on slots and that was it. I think I spent the LEAST on this trip but had the most fun. I love my friends!! Wouldn't have been the same without them!

WeHo w/ the Boys

So here's my more detailed post about my night in West Hollywood with the boys.

The night started out at my apartment. Miles and I got ready at my place because we had work during the day. So we showered and got dressed. Jon came over as well to make dirty martinis for Miles and himself... to sort of get the night started. I was the designated driver, so I didn't have a glass... or did I?

HAHA, don't worry.. that's not a real martini. I just poured some Simply Lemonade (the best brand of lemonade there is!!) and just pretended. It made for a cool photo tho, right? :)

By 9:15, the rest of the boys, Reggie and Kevin, arrived as well and we were ready to head out! (Reggie and Kevin are Miles' good friends. It was cool to hang out and get to know them better) It took me about 45 minutes to get there. We looked for some street parking, but that was a futile attempt. So we just decided to fork over the cash and pay for parking in a lot.

We walked over to The Factory where the Instinct party was held, but if you read the previous post then you know that the party had already ended when we got there. LAME SAUCE. We were already there, and we weren't going to just leave, so of course we decided to go bar hopping. We decided on Fiesta Cantina to start, mostly because of their 2 for 1 Drink Special. I got two Midori Sours. Yummy.

Unfortunately, I couldn't even finish one of them before I started feeling woozy. My heart started to pound real hard too. And then I just got REAL sleepy all of a sudden. My eyes would shut without me even knowing and then a few seconds later, I would realize that I was falling asleep and have to wake myself up. The bar stool that I was sitting on was right up against the wall, so I just leaned back into the wall and I definitely fell asleep a couple of times. Kevin tried showing me a picture he took on his phone but I was totally asleep. Miles had to yell at me to wake up! LOL. After him yelling at me, I felt more awake and made a conscious effort to keep my eyes open. And from then on, I was much better. But it was definitely my cue to NOT drink anymore. So Jon drank the rest of my drinks.

And let me say that Fiesta Cantina had quite a few cute boys! Some of them were just my type: cute white boys, blonde, athletic to muscular build. MMMM. YUMMY. Of course, none of those type of guys would EVER give me a second look. But they were nice to gawk at, nonetheless :)

Then, Miles' friend from Instinct (Robert) showed up with his boyfriend (Jarrod). It was Robert's birthday so we wished him a very Happy Birthday. It was my first time meeting Robert, and he's SUCH a nice guy! And I have to say he's a REAL cutie too. :) They stayed for a while with us in Fiesta Cantina, but then we all decided to go ahead to Eleven to do a little dancing. :)

When we got to Eleven, we saw that there was a long line to get in, so we said "screw that" and walked into East West instead. Not crowded at all. In fact, I probably prefer East West because it's very relaxed. There were couches everywhere and we grabbed one and sat down.

While in a very relaxed setting, there were quite a few weirdos there as well. First of all, there was an older guy who had a nice body that was clearly drunk. When we first got there, we just see him throw this guy onto the couch and then start humping him right then and there. After about 20 seconds of that, he got off him and apologized for doing it. Apparently, they didn't know each other. HAHA. And then he proceeded to take off his shirt in front of the window so that people walking on the streets would yell and holler at him. HAHA.. crazy guy.

Also, there were two older lesbian ladies who were clearly drunk. One of them was much drunker than the other and started to dance with any gay guy she had in sight. Unfortunately, Robert fell victim to her, and being a super nice guy, just went along with it. It looked like he had fun though :)

There's the drunk lesbian on the left and Robert falling over laughing at her. It looks like she's calling him over to dance some more. Also, if you click the pic to enlarge it, you'll notice the gays in the back just cracking up at the lesbian. LOL.

I really had a great time there. And it was just fun to be out with a bunch of boys. And tho it would've been nice to have met a boy while I was out there too (hehehe), I really wasn't expecting that and I was just happy to be having fun with friends.

Top to Bottom, Left to Right: Jarrod, Robert, Miles, Jon, Kevin, Me, Reggie

I'm really not a bar hopping, club dancing, drinking at parties kind of guy. But I enjoy myself when I do go out and do that stuff. I'm actually proud of myself for being able to have some fun outside my apartment. LOL. I do wish I went out to have fun more often. I really am wasting my time when I just sit at home and watch TV alone. I could be out having fun with friends, meeting new people. It really MUST be one of my New Year's Resolutions... if not THE most important one of them all. I need to stop being a lazy ass and get myself out there. I'm 24 years old and I need to start living life before it's too late.
