In Memory of Razz

This post is in memory of Razz, who died a year ago yesterday. He was an awesome guy and he portrayed his energetic and fun-loving nature through his blog. I miss him terribly. Here is my favorite post from his blog:

Thanks for posting this Doug. it was pretty obvious from that blog entry that he knew he wasn't going to make it :(

it's also nice that the 3 commenters on that post have all written their own blog posts, 1 year on.

to Razz!

I saw a memorial on Torchy's blog while browsing through. Thinking about Razz still makes me a bit sad. I like that post of his too, and it almost brings tears to my eyes.

To face his situation head on and feel content with life, that's something. Perhaps one day I'll look back and be able to say the same thing as he did.

That is certainly the one I remember most, with the one about becoming friends with Ste next.

As soon as I saw the title on that one, I knew what it meant, even though he never said so in the body of the post. The pluperfect said it all. And how wonderful that he could look at it that way rather than complaining about the unfairness of it all.

I've never had the pleasure of talking to Razz, but I have been reading his blog when I was living in Spain.

I loved reading every bit of it and when finding out that he passed away I cried in front of my pc. I never met him, but through his blog I was able to be part of the life of such an amazing person. And he will continue to live on in the memories of us and his friends!

Razz, we miss you!

This is all new to me...this site I mean... so Raz I didn't know, but in a way, know very well.
You have no idea how much I needed to know him today, of all days in my life, Raz had something to tell me.
Thank you for being an interesting and curious knot in the tenuous thread that led me to what I needed to be reminded of today.

Razz.
I go quiet whenever I think of him.
He meant and continues to mean a lot to many people.
Thank you for posting about him.
