Last Week of Unemployment

It's the last few days of lounging around doing nothing for the entire day! WOO! If you've read before, I haven't been technically "unemployed." I've still been with Disney this whole time, just not getting any hours. But rehearsals for the new show starts next Monday night and I'm just excited to have something on my schedule! And now these next few days are going to be super brutal because I just want to fast forward to Monday!

I have no idea what to do to keep myself busy. All my friends seem to be doing something with their lives, yet I'm stuck at home just watching TV the whole day. I don't have any money to actually go out and do something fun. Or even go out for a movie. Or a dinner. Nothing. So I'm trapped inside my apartment watching TV and porn. All day. However fun that may sound, even porn gets boring after 6 hours...

Good news is I only have to endure through Friday. I'm meeting my friends from school to watch Slumdog Millionaire at my friend's place. (She downloaded the movie. hehe) And then I head back to my family's house that night because on Saturday and Sunday, I'm going up to Big Bear Lake to try my hand (or feet?) at snowboarding! I've been skiing once or twice, and the last time I went, my sister forced me off of the bunny slopes and up the intermediate lift. I stood at the top, scared as hell, as my sister just said, SEE YA, and left me. I inched my way closer and closer to the decline and then suddenly I was on my way. I had NO idea how to turn or slalom or whatever you call it. So I was zoooooming down the mountain... straight down... and picking up speed the entire time. I TRIED to maneuver side to side with very little success. Eventually, the slope leveled out a bit and I forced myself to crash into the fence on the side to stop. yay. Thank goodness I didn't break any bones.. just some bruises and scratches all over my body. And since then, I've never been back in the snow. And that was.... I think... maybe 10 years?? LOL.

So I'm really hoping I'm a little bit more coordinated now. And hopefully snowboarding will just miraculously come natural to me. HAHA. We'll see... I'll keep you all posted.

In other news, I think my friend Davie has found me on the internet dating hookup site that I go to... he text me last night at 2:42am while I was sleeping. All he wrote was, "(the name of the site)?" And I got it this morning when I woke up... very confused... but a little embarrassing if he's found my profile just cuz of the photo that I put up there. It's of me shirtless... I put it up a few days ago. I HAVE been getting a lot more messages than usual after I put that picture up though, but not exactly from guys that I'm interested in. Anyway... I don't even know why I go on there. Maybe it's an ego thing. Cuz I really don't think I would hookup with anyone on there .... anymore :P

LOST Returns!

All 4 seasons of the show are ONLINE at ABC.com. It's a tad late to start watching all the episodes thus far, since the season premiere is TONIGHT at 9pm, but if you DO start tomorrow, you can maybe get through all 4 seasons by the time the 2nd episode! Plus, there is the CLIP SHOW at 8pm, showing you all the important scenes thus far. It will help you understand what has happened on the show.

Man I LOVE this show! It really isn't for the people who have watched it a few times here and there. It's for the die-hard fans... the one who have watched every episode. There's so much in the mythology of the island and the characters. It's sometimes hard to keep track of, but if you do, it really pays off because you get all the little surprises and twists that they throw at you. ;)

And I KNOW there are a lot of people who really don't care for this show... but if you're not a fan, please be respectful and don't bash it here... find somewhere else to do it. But if you love the show, LET ME KNOW so we can discuss! :P

Boring Day

Didn't really have an exciting day today, so not much to blog about. I DID have lunch with my ex-girlfriend (Jen) though. She really has to stop calling me her Will Truman. I never really enjoyed the character of Will on Will and Grace. I always thought he was too high strung and annoying. And then Jen proceeds to tell me that's exactly what I am. Grrr... that bitch.

I spent a large portion of the rest of my day hanging out with my sister and her two kids at her house. We watched TV pretty much the whole day. Nice way to spend the holiday. ;) Except for the part where my sister didn't make any food for me.. what kind of mom is she if she doesn't even cook? Argh. I had to eat the leftovers from lunch and then scrounge for other food. Definitely did NOT fill me up. Doesn't she realize I'm broke and need her to feed me??

I'm back at my own home now.. comfort of my own little studio apartment. :) After spending 2 and a half days in a house full of people, I finally had some time alone to have some... "happy time." :D And I went all out and had some fun at cam4.com. It was definitely a much needed wank. Now I'm finishing up Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that was recorded on my DVR but am surprisingly NOT tearing up from it. Oh well.. maybe next week's will be better.

Goodnight everyone! Look forward to any comments you guys may have... and yes, that was me shamelessly asking for comments because I'm a comment whore. And I'm nearing my 10,000 visit mark! How very exciting!

Extra Work

This morning, Jon and I went on a little field trip up to Burbank, CA to register ourselves for Extra work. And Extra as in television and movie extras... the background actors. We got there at the slotted 10:30am - 11:30am for registration and there was already a lot of people there. We stood in the big room while the lady made her announcements and explained the forms we had to fill out. During this time, Jon and I were NOT smart enough to notice where the registration table was and how they were on the OTHER side of the room from where we were standing. So when it came time to register, a mad rush of people went to line up in front of the registration tables and Jon and I were left to queue way behind them. The line started around 10:45am... I didn't get to leave the premises until 1:15pm. BLAH.

So we stood in line forever. There were two lines. Jon was in a different line because they separated us. Don't know why we didn't just insist on standing in the same line. So, of course, cuz this is just how my life works, I'm in the SLOW line. The lady working my line was this young girl who looks like she hadn't eaten in 5 days and moving SO slowly. Jon's line, however, had a lady who has clearly had her breakfast because she was zooming through everyone's paperwork. I think 2 or 3 people completed their registration in Jon's line for every 1 person in my line. It was ridiculous.

After paperwork came time to take our picture. Boys had the option of just taking on picture with our shirts on or taking an additional picture with our shirts off at no additional cost. Um... why NOT take the shirt off? It would mean that the casting directors have one more picture to look at you and you may be considered for scenes that involve bathing suits, swimming, whatever. And it didn't cost any extra for the extra photo! So it was a no-brainer to me! But apparently, people were too shy to do it. Yes, people can see you in the photo room taking your shirt off. But whatever! I'm used to it. I'm a big ol' slut that shows off on cam, so this was no biggie. :P Jon didn't do it. He complained about how the lighting was horrible and the white background was just going to wash him out cuz he was so pale. BLAH BLAH BLAH. What a pussy. It's not like he has a bad body either. Whatever - he'll only have himself to blame when I book more shows than him.

So yay! I'm now registered to become an extra in TV and movies!! A bunch of my friends went to register last week and just yesterday, two of them got work on the set of BROTHERS AND SISTERS (!!!!!!), dressed in bikinis for a pool scene. LOL! Ok, first off, Brothers and Sisters is one of my favorite shows on television! It's on ABC on Sunday nights at 10pm (after Desperate Housewives). Second... um... there is no second. It's just TOTALLY AWESOME that they were getting paid to be near celebrities the whole day!

So I'm excited to hopefully get a gig soon. Apparently, there have been a lot of calls for HOUSE! And CSI:NY! And some people are saying that they're starting to cast extras for the next Twilight movie too. This is some exciting stuff! And you better believe that if I book a job, I'll let you all know about it so you can look for me on TV or the big screen! ;)

10 Things About Me

Well, I know I'm a little late to the game with these "10 things about me" posts, but I figured this would be the perfect time for me to do it since it's my 100th blog post! It was a little over 3 months ago when I first started this post. It's amazing to think that I've had so many experiences in such a short amount of time. And I'm so happy that I started the blog so that I can look back on everything I went through. And I'm also so happy to have you guys out there to chat with and share these experiences with. I've gotten to know some of you pretty well.

But I know that there are so many more of you out there. SO please don't be afraid to write me a comment or an email (nytedragon@gmail.com) or even a message on Yahoo (NerdeusMaximus) or AIM (PowerOfBlast1). I would love to get to know more of you!

So I dedicate this 100th Post to all of you out there! =)

1. I was born in Hong Kong, China in the 22nd hour of October 17, 1984. I am six years younger than my sister. My parents had apparently tried really hard for another baby after my sister and were ecstatic to find out that they were having a son. Asians have this thing about favoring having sons over daughters... passing down the family line and blah blah blah. Wow, what a disappointment I'm going to be to them if/when they found out that I'm gay...

2. I have a "body cracking" routine when I go to sleep. When I get in bed, I lie on my back and bring my knees (one at a time) up and slightly to the side of my chest. This pops my hips. Then I keep my knees to my chest and twist my lower body to one side while keep my upper body still. This helps crack me back/spine. I do this on both sides, which relieves SOO much tension off my lower back. (I've mentioned that I have scoliosis so I have a lot of tension on my lower back). Then I adjust my hips left and right to make sure I'm comfortable. Then I bring my right ear to my right shoudler, and use my arm to assist my neck to crack. I do the same on the left side. Then I clasp my hands behind my head and bring my chin to my chest, slowly moving my head left and right. This cracks and relieves tension off my upper spine. And after all that, I'm totally relaxed and I usually fall asleep within a few minutes. Feels SOOOO good!

3. I have decided that my favorite movie is "Love Actually." Watched it tonight and loved every minute of it. Some of the scenes just makes me cry like a baby cuz it's so beautiful. The whole movie so well written!

4. I have secret aspirations to become a Broadway star. I think that would be the coolest thing to perform on Broadway. If only I could sing or dance...

5. When I was 15, my dad found me watching gay porn on my computer. Naturally, he and my mom freaked out. I don't really remember much because it was a pretty traumatic experience for me. I do remember my mom having a conversation with me asking me if it was my choice to watch the gay porn and then something about genetics. Hm...... Interesting. But that night, my dad came in my room and sat me down. Basically grilled me questions. Don't remember much of these questions. But he was basicaly demanding that I wasn't going to be looking at that stuff anymore. Wow, I just don't remember much from that night at all. But after a few days, to make my mom and dad happy, I remember going into their room and telling them that I had a crush on a girl at school. To this day, my mom still asks me about her.

6. I dated my ex-girlfriend for 6+ years. I've mentioned my ex-gf, Jen, before and how we're still great friends now. So now you know that we have a lot of history together. We started dating when I was a senior in HS and she was a junior. We had some really great times. But I already knew I liked boys at the time, even though I was trying to supress it. I tried convincing myself that I really did like girls, but as years went by, I just couldn't deny it any more. Then one day, while I was on a family vacation in Japan with my family, my ex-gf snooped on my computer and found my porn. She was really angry at me, but when I got back to the US, we decided, somehow, that we would work it out. I don't know what the hell we were thinking. I don't exactly know what we planned when we said we would work it out. I guess maybe I was going to supress my feelings for boys. But it never worked. And finally, after another year, we decided to officially break up. Yes, a year. And it was a pretty sad year. We practically never saw each other (even though we lived together) and just ignored and avoided the problem. Breaking up was the best decision that we made for the both of us. We moved out in June of this year, and the rest is what you all have been reading here.

7. I have a pillow that I have to sleep with at night. It's a pillow that I've had since I was 2. Yes, the same exact pillow. It's a very small pillow... the pillows that you would give to babies. And that's why I call it "Small Pillow." It's the same pillow, but a different pillowcase. But this particular pillowcase I've actually had since I was 6. I sleep with it in my arms every night. I don't take it with me on trips though.. just when I'm at home. These days, I just pretend Small Pillow is a boy that I love and I'm cuddling with him while I sleep.

8. I was, and still am, a HUGE Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan. I wasn't a fan of the movie.. just the TV series. I have all 7 seasons on DVD. And I also have the spinoff series, Angel, all on DVD as well. It was 8 years of my life (Angel went on for one more year longer than Buffy), and I loved every part of it.

9. I have never done anything that you would count as "outdoorsy." I have never gone camping. I have never been at a bonfire. I have never been backpacking. The closest was going to Band Camp up in the mountains, but we still had cabins to stay in and stuff. So it really doesn't count. Though I say I would LOVE to go camping some day, I feel like I'd be too much of a city boy to enjoy "grunging" it in the outdoors. But maybe if I was with a boy that I really like, it wouldn't matter ;)

10. I am Blue-Purple color blind. Those color blind tests with the dots and you see numbers... I can't do those. Most of them, I can't see the correct numbers. They make it so that if you're a certain type of color blindness, we see a different number than those with normal vision. I remember my first time taking the test at the eye doctors, and the doctor had my mom come into the room. I said some number, and my mom was like, "Are you serious? That's the number that you see?" And I was like... "Yea, what's the problem??" LOL. So I can't really distinguish blues and purples very well. I also use it as an excuse for my horrible fashion sense. :P

Well, I hope that this gas given you a better glimpse into my life. If you have any questions or comments about any of it, PLEASE don't hesitate to contact me. Again, I love to make new friends online, so just go ahead and email or IM me. :) I promise I'm a nice guy!

Giddy

James made fun of me when I told him I was "giddy." I think it's a very appropriate word for how I'm feeling right now. It's more than just "happy" but not so much that I'm jumping for joy. Somewhere in the middle.

Why? Well, tonight, while browsing through an internet dating site, I met a guy that seems very genuine. And that's definitely tough to find on internet dating sites. This guy caught my eye with his picture. I clicked into his profile and he didn't really write a description. He just had his stats posted. I liked his stats and his pictures, so I figured I might as well write him a "hello." After a few minutes, I didn't even think that I'd get a response. But I got a response! And he asked how I was doing, which meant he was interested in some sort of conversation. So from there on, we greeted each other... talked about what we were doing at the moment (both of us were watching TV)... what plans we had for this Thanksgiving... what our education background is... etc.

And then I decided to be bold and ask him what he was looking for on the site. And I guess it's a pretty reasonable question to ask. Most guys on there will just say that they're there for a quickie or a hookup. Well, he responds by telling me that he's looking for someone to talk with and see where things go from there. He's not into hookups - he prefers that he meet someone first, then see where things lead. But he adds that he's not saying that he's not a physical person ;)

Well that's a pretty good response, I would say! I tell him that it's completely refreshing to see that there are guys on the site that want to talk and hang out first. And that I'm looking for exactly the same thing. I also add that getting physical is definitely more fun when you've gotten to know the guy first. HEHE.

So I ask him if he'd like to grab coffee or a bite to eat some time. And he says that he'd love to! We introduce ourselves (his name is Matt) and let each other know where we live. He'd be about a 20-25 minute drive on the freeway from me. Still within the same county, but just opposite ends I guess. No biggie! We also exchange AIM screen names (FINALLY!, it was getting tedious to chat on the internet site).

On AIM, we kind of set a date for our date. :) He explains that he's going out of town for Thanksgiving this week so next week would be best. He returns on Saturday, so I suggest Sunday night after I work. I didn't want it to be any later because I don't want to wait any longer for this date to happen! lol. He also asks if I have any more pictures of me. We agree to exchange more pics.

And thanks to James for helping me choose two good pics of myself to send to him. He picked one of me that I thought I looked stupid in, but he convinced me to send it to Matt. And it definitely was a good choice because he said I looked cute (and that I had a nice sweater vest... haha). He then sent me his pics, and WOW does he have a nice smile. He looks kinda like Josh Lucas (from the movies Poseidon and Sweet Home Alabama) and Jensen Ackles (from the CW's Supernatural). I think he's REALLY good looking. And he's tall. 6'3"! I'm only 5'9", so there's kind of a height difference there... but whatever! I like taller guys!

So after the pics, we again made plans for the date. Tentative plans since it IS a week away and things may change. But we exchanged phone numbers as well. So I have his AIM and phone number. That should be enough to keep in contact with him! :)

Then I asked him about TV again and if he was still watching Seinfeld. That led to a discussion about what TV shows we like to watch. We have some of the same tastes in TV. And that's GOOD. One big one that he doesn't care for is "Friends." But I guess I can deal with that. He's into Heroes though! Very happy about that! But he tells me he hasn't watched this season at all! So I ask if he has Netflix because they just opened up the "Watch Instantly" feature on Mac computers. With that, we can watch episodes from THIS season right away on our computers! He says he doesn't have Netflix, so I slip in that he is welcome to come over any time to watch Heroes and that I wouldn't mind watching the episodes over again with him because they're really good. :P He thought it was a nice gesture and thanked me, adding that it could be fun.

And by that time, it was already midnight and he had to get to work early tomorrow. So we said our goodbyes. He told me it was great talking to me and that I should keep in touch. I tell him "of course!" and that he should feel free to IM me any time.

So, that is the reason why I'm giddy! Don't you think that's an appropriate word? I have a date planned and it's with a sweet, smart, cute guy! You know, I'm not getting my hopes up on this at all. But it's just nice to have had a conversation with someone and to have the prospect of a nice date that may develop into more. But we'll see! I mean, the date is a WEEK away. And things may change. He might change his mind about me. He may bail out before that. Who knows? But for now, I'm going to bed giddy and with a grin on my face. :)

Saturday Morning Cartoons!

So I'm actually awake in the morning in the 8 o'clock hour! For the past... um... 3 months?, I hadn't woken up until at the earliest 11:30am. SO, this is a very rare thing for me to be up at this time. Last night, I just felt really tired around 10:30pm, while I was watching House on my TiVo. So around 11pm, I cleaned myself up, brushed my teeth, jerked off (hehe), and went straight to bed.

I woke up at around 6:45am or so and went to the bathroom. I tried to go back to sleep and was just kinda in bed for about a half hour. But after tossing and turning for a while, I just accepted the fact that I wasn't going to be able to fall asleep again (bummer), so I got out of bed and started a load of laundry.

Now I have the TV on.. NBC, the CW, and ABC all have Saturday morning cartoons on right now. Ok scratch that, ABC just went to College Football, but Emperor's New School was on before. And it's The Amazing Spider-Man on the CW now. FUN!

Ok, but do you guys remember when Animaniacs and Tiny Toons ruled Saturday mornings?! Those were the cartoons that I watched. LOVED them! Remember the "Nations of the World" by Wakko Warner? Well, I totally memorized the whole thing, actually performed it when in my high school choir sping show, and can still do it now, if I wanted to. :)

Mambo Italiano

One thing about me that I may not have talked about yet (not sure) is that I'm a TV FIEND! I'm obsessed with so many tv shows and I find myself watching TV for more of the spare time. I know.. that's bad.. I should get off the couch and do stuff, but I can't help it. TV is awesome.

The 7th season (yes, 7 already!) of Dancing with the Stars premiered this past Monday. I'm only now catching up on the episodes (since I was in Florida). And I'm actually quite disappointed at all of the stars' performances. There's not ONE stand out performer this year... However, that doesn't stop me from noticing super hottie Italian chef Rocco DiSpirito!

AND he cooks! YUMMY! Food is definitely the way to my heart! lol.
I hope he stays around on the program for a while longer, though his chances don't look too good because he really can't dance. But let's hope all the food fans out there vote for him! I want to see him shake his booty in the cha cha and the samba! ;)

OH! And my favorite professional dancer Maxim Chmerkovskiy is back on the show this season! SO hot! He's with Misty May Treanor and she's not too bad, so I think they'll stay for a little bit.
